Hey everyone! This is just a reminder that Sunday the church is starting the homecoming events. Don’t forget that Billy needs help with all of the decorating, let him know if you can help soon! This Sunday the church is going to be focused on the Past, so there will be a lot of different people there! It is our goal to make them feel welcomed and at home, so find someone new and shake their hand! There will also be food afterwards. All the families have been asked to bring a meal that will feed two families!

Hey everyone! This week our Heritage Generals took on the Gordon Central Warriors. Before I tell who won, let me tell you that you must remember that HHS is a first-year school>don’t expect a lot. Well, Gordon Central won. (Really badly). Gordon Lee took on the Lakeview Fort-Oglethorpe Warriors, and beat them. Ringgold went to North Carolina and I believe that they lost too. It looks like Catoosa county (Ringgold, LFO, and Heritage) are not in their best season-SO FAR. BUT! Great job Trojans (Gordon Lee) for the victory! Keep up the awesome work!

So I know that Em. I have one thing in commen, we love football. Well she attends Gordon Lee and I go to Heritage High. Friday night was football season kickoff! Heritage played Sonoraville, Ringgold didn’t have a game, Gordon Lee played Ridgeland, and LFO had a game too. HHS, Gordon Lee, and LFO all lost. It is sad indeed, but hey, it’s the first game. And for HHS, it is the first year!
So GOOD LUCK to all those football players, and REMEMBER, all that you do, will reflect on God’s reputation.

Okay, so on Wednesday it was our second worship session of this school year. It was really good. To me it seemed like everthing went very smoothly. The band did good, no major mess-ups, and Billy’s message was really good too! This week was really good because whenever the band was performing, it seemed like everyone in the crowd was responding to it in a positive manner. It was a good service. I know that I felt God in the middle of everything, and that is a great feeling. In the beginning we did testamonies, to my surprise, there were several people that wanted to share. It was awesome!
Let’s hope that we can keep the spirit of God in a uprising motion like we are doing now!
EVERYONE: Don’t forget that we are having youth worship on Wednesday night. We kicked it off last week and it was amazing! This week be sure to bring yourself and as many friends as possible! BE THERE!!!!!!
Okay, so this video displayed two different messages to me. The first one being, that there are people watching us. Just like the little girl in the beginning of this video, there are people who hear and see us. If they are people who don’t know much about God and don’t know much about being a Christian, they will probably make assumptions on what it is to be a Christian and how you can act. The next message is that we don’t fall into a HUMONGUS sin just right off the bat. We “slowly fade” into it. Just like the song says. So whenever you find that little temptation creeping up on you, just remember that one little bitty temptation will just lead to another one, and before you know it, you’re into some deep trouble. Let’s go out and remember to let God take control of our lives, and to live our lives like He wants us to!
Hey everyone! September seems to be a busy month, huh? Well here is another even to put on you calander and to make sure that you are going to: See You At The Pole. It is on September 24 at Heritage High School in the Auditorium. It starts at 7pm, so be sure to be there early to get a good seat! This is an extremely fun even, so be sure that you bring ALL of your friends to it!
